It's Not Real, Ya Hear?!
You can use the arrow keys and spacebar, or WASD and the left mouse button, whichever you prefer. I haven't tested it, but I think it should work with a controller, too.
Keep Perry away from the envelopes flying around the room. If he reads one of those, your entire world will be flung into chaos! Throw the chairs and the table! Whatever it takes.

Every art asset in this game, except for the text fonts, was made by me, and will be posted on OpenGameArt as open source for anyone to use once the jam is over. All the code was written by me, though of course I watched a tutorial here and there. Every sound effect as well as the awesome background music, were made by Colyde.
The story, characters, and setting are inspired by J.K Rowling's Harry Potter series.
Fonts are Alagard and Retro Gaming from DaFont.com and are open source.

A wonderful little spoof on the world of Harry Potter!
This is so much fun and I love the concept, I laughed so hard. One thing I would recommend is being able to hit the letters out of the air with furniture. Other than that, every second was fun.

Awesome! I love it! Great art, gameplay was fun, and the art and animation really brought it all together. I loved "Perry's" expressions, and also it was a really fun moment when I discovered I could hit him with furniture for the first time hahaha.
Something I would've liked to see is a visual indication of where the furniture will go when you throw it. I found myself running around to collect the letters after strategically placing the furniture since that was more reliable for me.
Once again, great job! Congrats on completing the jam, you guys should be really proud of what you've done!
I loved this game! The art, sound effects, interesting take on the theme, funny. This game has it all. The only problem that I can see is that there should maybe be a scoring system. That way I know if I did better than the last attempt. Other than that, phenomenal job. You guys should be very proud of yourselves :> 10/10

How is this related to the theme though?
because the mean Uncle insists that magic isn't real, and the letters are a prank (this part will be added in the cutscene. It's one of the last things I need to add.) The title of the game is "It's not real, you hear?!" it's about that certain scene from a certain movie I won't name for risk of getting in trouble.
